1990-2000
The photographes in the Penumbra gallery formed the content of my first photographic collection. The locations featured include Australia, Estonia, Germany, Holland, Ibiza, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.

2001
The subject matter of the photographs in the 127 gallery are of the rented house that I shared. When we had to vacate the property I decided to document the house using photographs.
TELEFON
2002-04
The photographs in the Telefon gallery were the first photographes taken after I 'went digital'. They feature images from such places as Azerbijian, Japan, Portugal, Russia and locally around Cambridge.
DENMARK 2005
2005
The photographs in the Denmark 2005 gallery were taken during a two-week holiday. Locations include Aarhus, Copenhagen, Kerteminde and Odense Fjord.
SNOW
2007
The photographs in the Snow gallery were taken on my walks to work during the snow falls of February 2007. They mainly feature the snow-covered roads and pavements.
JAPAN
2002-07
From the neon lights and the sensory overload of the cities to the beautiful calm of the countryside, there is something about Japan that inspires and enthuses me. I have tried to capture these feelings by taking photographs and creating images that express my experiences.
ABOUT ME
When I bought my first camera in 1986, I fell in love with taking pictures. I find that photography enables me to see my surroundings in a completely different way. Through the lens everyday objects seem to form shapes and patterns and take on a life of their own. Photography gives me a feeling of peace away from the pressures of every day life, but also gives me a sense of searching and longing.
The subject of my photos and artworks tends to be of the simple images that we take for granted, like ordinary household items, or reflections in a window. I am also heavily influenced by travelling, movement, and my new second home, Japan.
I trained as a graphic designer and now work as an Art Director for a Cambridge-based publishing company. I have produced three self-published books of my photographic art, ‘Penumbra’, ‘Telefon’ and 'Journeys within Japan' which feature images from such diverse places as Australia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Germany, Japan, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
